Dancing gals reunion!

Finally, the dancing gals have reunited after a year of saying that they would visit us in Melbourne! While Hot Babe and I slogged our asses working during the week, we decided to go for a farm stay with the gals over the weekend. First time for all of us!

So on saturday morning, we decided to start our day with brekkie! What better place than pancake parlour! It's the Melbourne version of Pancakes on the Rocks in Sydney. But I dare say it tastes better! Guess it's more buttery, I like!

Group picture taken to kickstart the day. Ha, I bet this is one of the rare occasion that xm has so many gals surrounding him. Another thing to check out. My red bermudas! It's a steal! I got it for only AUD$5 at the factory outlet! ;p

Victory picture before we set off!

After driving for 4 hours, passing valleys after valleys, we finally reached the farm house! Tadah!

Doesn't it look very cottage style? So cosy and warm!

Not forgetting to satisfy xm's desire for photo taking with babes, I reluctantly decided to oblige him. Just look at his excited face! HAHA SUA KU!

We explored the place, rummaging through the kitchen to see what food is in store...FRESH EGGS from the pok pok keh and bread made by the farmer!

Seeing that it was still bright out there, we decided to check out the animals.

Meh meh xiao mian yang! I tell you, these beasts are freaking greedy! The farmer gave us a loaf of bread to feed the animals and the moment these sheeps see you, they run towards you not cause they love you, but cause they want your bread!

Haha, see their heads sticking out of the fence? That's how greedy they are! But apparently, ah ser and I are more interested in taking pictures than bothering about them. Tsk tsk.

Know why these cows look so skinny? That's cause we have a big bottle of milk in our fridge!

How can we forget to advertise the farm? Poster gals we are! :)

Being bored as it was getting dark, we decided to take some pictures to self entertain ourselves. Group pictures here we come!

Check out this bedroom. It is actually so story book like. The gals FORCED me to take pictures with teddy bears. Oh man, look at those teddy bears, so bo seh! :(

Another close up one. And I had to act happy. Boohoo!

As if 2 are not enough, the gals were apparently enjoying themselves! I was ready to go bonkers!

This is what numerous photo taking with teddy bears turned me into! Scary, ain't it?

When night fell, ah xian and ah ser cooked dinner while the rest of us slacked by the fireplace.

Cold cold night. I decided to be smart and sleep on the couch by the fireplace! But still, it was FREEZING!

The next morning, we woke up shivering! But the day is not to be wasted! We were gonna cook brekkie using all the eggs and bread and whatever was in the fridge!

Chefs in the making! Look at all our hair! Haha we look so kuku!

After feeding ourselves, it was time to relieve the cows before their bladder explodes!

Haha, see stylo quek in action! Hmm...milking cows was actually er, a weird experience. Haha, but it's fun! Look at how scared I was!

The fruit of our labour!

After milking, it was time for feeding. Look at how greedy this small calf is! I was literally trying to prevent it from snatching away the bottle of milk in my hands!

However, behind every happening moment lies a sad tale...

See that black spot on my knee?

Boohoo! Look at the severity of my injury! And whose fault is that?

Everyone, I present you the violent dog! Bloody dog leh! It jumped on me while I was closing the car door which resulted in me slamming my knee against my car! If only I had a ready fire, I would have BBQed it! ARGHHH...

Yet another group picture before we leave!

Overall, the trip was fun and it was great catching up with the gals and xm. Seemed like such a long time since we met, but it's amazing how some things still remain the same! Friendship is truly an amazing thing!

Vue Da Monde

The most expensive meal of my life, ever! Imagine the horror on my face when I realised that my glass of Rose wine cost $35! :'(

Stay tuned to Hot Babe's blog for a detailed write-up!

Aussie Road Trip - Conclusion

On the tenth and eleventh day of my stay in Melbourne, Deario brought me to the Werribee Zoo and the Victoria Market among other places. I shan't go on about these places here as I don't think there are many animal lovers like me out there. As for the farewell between Mich and I - let's just say it was more teary than any of us had expected..

I really miss Mich now that the ocean is between us again.
